R&B/Soul singer-songwriter, TYGRESSA, who officially debuted on the indie artist music scene in the summer of 2021, and rose to the top of the UK Soul Chart Top 30 and Amazon Hot New Releases UK at #1 with her hit song, ‘Hey You, A Minute with You,’ is back with her spring single, ‘PILLOW TALK.’ Known for its sensuous anderotic lyrical vibe (as originally sung by singer/record producer, Sylvia Robinson, and cowritten with Michael Burton, 1973), this cover of ‘Pillow Talk’ is similarly sexy and described by national podcaster, Smiley J of the Smiley J Artist Zone for independent artist, as a “classic throwback with a fresh modern feel.” With a tempo and groove so smooth and just right for hand dancing, this single, along with the music video, depicts both a 70’s and a ‘today’s’ flow. Produced and programmed by Memphis music producer, Terry ’20’ Poindexter, featuring musicians, Louis Hayslett (keys) and Marc Franklin (trumpet). Tygressa – A Minute with You’ is a four-song EP comprised of three original tracks with lyrics written and performed (all vocals) by the singer/songwriter and one cover song originally written by record producer, the late Marvin Yancey and singer/songwriter Charles (“Chuck”) Jackson for nine-time Grammy Award Winner, the late Natalie Cole. This EP is classified as R&B music that grooves, but also speaks to the good and not so good feelings of love.
